HAMPDEN – Paul Philip Moore, 48, passed away unexpectedly May 27, 2007 at his home. He was born July 11, 1958, in Bangor, the son of Donald and Marion (Curtis) Moore. Paul was a lifelong resident of Hampden and a graduate of Hampden Academy, Class of 1976. He was a skilled carpenter and took great pride in all his work. Paul enjoyed working on old tractors, motorcycles and hot rods, music, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, and building homes. He also loved playing Jenga with his family and friends. Paul loved nature and will be remembered by everyone who knew him as a friend to everybody; if you had Paul as a friend you had a genuine friend. He will be truly missed by everyone who knew him. Paul is survived by a sister, Donna Ritchie; and two nephews, Donald Ritchie and his wife, Jilanta, and Keith Ritchie and his wife, Janis and their daughter, Audrey; his loving girlfriend, Vicky Rockwell and her daughters, Kim and Kristy and her two granddaughters, Monet and Madison, which Paul enjoyed playing with. He also leaves his best friend, Rick Betts and his wife, Dianna. Paul was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Marion; two brothers, Wesley and Wayne; and a sister, Jeannette. Visiting hours will be held 5-7 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, June 3, at the funeral home conducted by the Rev. Dick Woehr. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery, Hampden.
