FRANKLIN – Betty Jean Tracy, 74, died Sunday, March 13, 2005, at a Bangor hospital. She was born March 4, 1931, in Sullivan, the daughter of Maynard Hardison and Helen (West) Hardison. She attended schools in Sullivan and graduated from Sullivan High School. She is survived by her husband, Earl E. Tracy of Franklin; her son, Earl and wife, Linda; three grandchildren, Betty Ann Tracy, Bradenton, Fla., Tina Marie Tracy and boyfriend, Shannon. of Ellsworth, Scott Tracy and wife, Lori, of Hancock; one great-granddaughter, Jessica Tracy of Hancock; one sister, Ann Thayer and husband, Kenneth, of Hermon; two brothers, Willard and wife, Pat, of Sullivan, Harry and wife, Sandra, of Sullivan; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; sisters, Hazel Tracy, Barbara Moon, and Pauline Kelliher. At her request, there will be no visiting hours. A memorial service will be announced in the spring.
