TRENTON, Ga. – Beatrice “Betty” Sheehan, 74, passed away March 17, 2008. As a loving and supportive mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend, she will be greatly missed by all, especially for her generous hospitality. She was predeceased by her parents, Ray and Gladys Knowles of Guilford; and nephew, Barry Weinberger. Survivors include four daughters, Connie Therrien and Eileen Sheehan, both of Trenton, Ga., Donna Prest and husband, Bill, of Oak Island, N.C., and Debbie Sidell and husband, Alex, of New Gloucester; sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Oscar Rollins of Glenburn; sister, Marie Weinberger of Great Barrington, Mass.; sister, Wilma Vitalone of Moscow; sister and brother, in love, Joyce and Larry Greene of Trenton, Ga.; grandchildren, Adrienne Therrien of Costa Mesa, Calif., Christine Jones and husband, Scott, of Machesney Park, Ill., and Heather Gendreau of New Gloucester; also nieces, Lorraine Romano and husband, Bill, of Hampden and Gay Weinberger of Great Barrington, Mass.; and nephews, Darrell Rollins of Glenburn and Mark Weinberger of Clarksville, Tenn. A brief graveside service at Payne Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Alan Flowers, pastor of her earthly church home New England Baptist, Wildwood, Ga., was attended by family and close friends. In death, as in life, she was steadfastly fixed on Jesus Christ her Lord. In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty’s name to the Gideons would by greatly appreciated.
