BREWER – Beulah Elizabeth Gallant, 87, died June 1, 2006, at a Brewer healthcare facility. She was born Oct. 11, 1918, in Thorndike, the daughter of Charles and Flora (Huff) Patterson. Beulah graduated from MCI in 1935 and attended the Maine School of Commerce. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper at Hathorn Auto Supply, for Richard Files and for Frank Hinckley. Beulah was a member of St. Teresa’s Catholic Church, Brewer. More than anything, she enjoyed being home and working around the house. Beulah was predeceased by her husband, Joseph E. Gallant in 1989. She is survived by nieces, Helene F. Staples of Bangor and Garaldine Roshto and husband, Lawrence, of Rockport; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends are invited to visit with the family 10-11 a.m. Monday, June 5, at Brookings-Smith, Clark-Piper Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer, with funeral services being held 11 a.m. with the Rev.
