BROOKSVILLE, Fla. and LINCOLN – Geneva M. Haverlock Pinkham, wife of Howard B. Pinkham, died May 29, 2006, at home in Brooksville, Fla., with her husband by her side. She was born Feb. 10, 1930, in Howland, the daughter of Peter and Isabelle (Morin) Haverlock. Geneva was a giving and caring person for elderly people and known for her playing guitar and singing at nursing homes. In addition to her husband of 57 years, she is survived by a daughter, Shirley Moody of Bangor; a son, Douglas and his wife, Kathy, of Lincoln; four sisters, Rosemary Glidden and special sister, Irene Haverlock, Loretta Bernard of Howland and Jennie Leighton of Lincoln; brother, Eugene Haverlock of Connecticut; three very special grandchildren, Kimberly Pinkham of Lincoln, Ryan Harris of Bangor and Reid Harris of New Hampshire; and four great-grandchildren. She also leaves a very close friend that was there in the end, Ruth Laushway of Brooksville, Fla. She was predeceased by sisters, Gracie Kreta and Martha Sherwood. There will be no funeral services.
