CHARLESTON – Beulah Strout Stevens, 69, wife of the late Wilbur Stevens, passed away April 26, 2007, at Mayo Regional Hospital, after a short illness. She was born Jan. 17, 1938, in Charleston, the daughter of Henry and Evelyn Lawry Strout. Beulah was a resident of Charleston her entire life, and graduated from Higgins Classical Institute. She is survived by her half sister, Clara Brasslett of Bradford; and her uncle, Wilson Lawry of Charleston, with whom she enjoyed the last years of her life attending auctions, sightseeing and going to local restaurants in Corinth, Milo, Brownville, Howland, Dexter and Newport. She will be buried in Charle-ston. At her request there will be no burial or memorial service. Arrangements are by Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Road, Corinth.
