HOULTON and HODGDON Irene M. Margison, 87, passed away April 26, 2007, with her loving family at her bedside. She was born Sept. 13, 1919, in Oakfield, the daughter of Lewis and Mary (Brannen) Townsend. Irene is survived by her daughter, Gail Bither and her husband, Wayne, of Hodgdon; her son, Lawrence Margison Jr. and Genive Stevens of Houlton; six grandchildren, Michelle Greenleaf, Michael Bither, Brenda Harvey and her husband, Bruce, Shawn Margison and his wife, Alisa, Heather Cameron and her husband, Todd, Kim Beal; 13 great-grandchildren, Jeremy Bither and his wife, Tiffany, Krista Greenleaf, Melissa Greenleaf, Justin, Guner and Hanah Bither, Joshua and Jonathan Harvey, Christopher Cameron, Jacob, Logan, Brady and Conner Margison; one great-greatgrandson, Janson Bither; an aunt, Bessie Stockford; a sister-in-law, Rowana Theriault; special nephew, Ralph “Butch” Randall and his wife, Patty; several nieces, nephews, cousins; and her caregivers, L.D. and Ella. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Lawrence Margison in 1987; an infant daughter, Linda; her sister, Rita; and her brother, Otis. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Dunn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Revs. Wayne Robertson and Randall Burns officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
