CHINA – On June 9, 2007, the Lord called one of his angels on Earth back home. A precious sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grand-mother, Beverly Aleta Rancourt, 70, arrived in the presence of the Lord with her family at her side. She was born July 5, 1936, in East Corinth, the daughter of Dana and Vivian (LeClair) Brockway. Beverly herself being the product of a loving family, she was happiest when surrounded by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren at her China Lake home. She also enjoyed working in her beautiful flower gardens and watching birds from her deck. Surviving are her husband of 41 years, Louis Rancourt of China; eight children, Terry Hiltz and husband, Wayne, of Fairfield, Cindy Scott and husband, Steven, of Waterville, Ronnie Webber of Oakland, Patti Gagne and husband, Bob, of Waterville, Louis Rancourt II of Montville, Ramona Rancourt and partner, Darlene St. Jean, of Connecticut, Josephine Dawna Wood and Frank Wood of Waterville and Eric Rancourt and wife, Natasha, of China; three sisters, Barbara Cloutier of Newport, Phyllis Clukey and husband, Hig, of Florida and Doris Young and husband, Robert, of Bangor; a brother, Milton Brockway and wife, Sandra, of Newport; a sister-in-law, Rachelle Vince of Waterville; 13 grandchildren, Jon-athan Hiltz and wife, Danielle, Jaime Hiltz, Christopher Scott and wife, Dawn, Brian and Kevin Scott, Josiah Webber, Randi Burns, Renee Gagne, Israel Rancourt and Eli Daly-Rancourt, Alexandria, Ana-stasia and Adrianna Wood; three great-grandchildren, Carrie Ann and Nicholas Vigue and Lydia Hiltz; as well as several nieces and nephews; and dear special friends, Jeannie, Val and Sammy. She will also be missed by her extended family at JC Penney. Beverly was predeceased by a brother, Donald Brockway; brothers-in-law, Bill Cloutier and John St. Armand; grandchild, Emma Daly-Rancourt; and her dearest, closest friend, June Caron. Visiting hours will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, at Veilleux Funeral Home, 8 Elm St., Waterville. A funeral Mass celebrating Beverly’s life will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, at Sacred Heart Church, Waterville. Burial will be at Morse Corner Cemetery, Corinna.
