BROOKSVILLE – Beverly Thelma Lee, 63, died April 20, 2006, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Oct. 30, 1942, in Brooklin, the daughter of Earl B. and Martha (Douglas) Austin. She worked for 25 years at the Penobscot Nursing Home. She loved to watch the birds, enjoyed cross-stitching and knitting. Beverly is survived by her daughters, Martha Moon of Surry, Thelma Grant of Searsport, Vanessa Rich of Bucksport; sons, Bryant and Brad Lee, both of Brooksville; sisters, Lois Means and Marion Dennis, both of Brooklin, Grace Sherer of Stockton Springs; 10 grandchildren and seven nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, Vane H. Lee; and two sons, Earl and Vane Lee Jr. Calling hours will be held 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday, April 24, at Jordan-Fernald, 141 South St., Blue Hill. Graveside services will follow at 1 p.m. at Rural Cemetery in Sedgwick, with the Rev. Harald Smedal officiating.
