PRESQUE ISLE – Birdenna J. Clair, 82, wife of the late Otis J. Clair died Thursday night Sept. 23, 2004, at her residence. She was born June 29, 1922, at Ft. Fairfield the daughter of Havelock and Lillian (Marilla) Tomlinson. Birdenna worked for 15 years at Weinberg’s Clothing Store in Presque Isle. She enjoyed spending time at camp at Squa pan and St. Froid lakes. She loved to shop and watch the jewelry channels on TV. She enjoyed her grandchildren, and her granddog Sydney. She is survived by a daughter, Otalene Clair, of Presque Isle; three sons and their wives, Frank and Gloria Clair of Mapleton, Otis Jr. and Connie Clair of Wonder Valley, Calif., and Alan and Kathy Clair of Presque Isle; 10 grandchildren; two great-grand children; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband; and two brothers, Rodney and Robert Tomlinson. Relatives and friends may call 7-9 p.m. Sunday, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home with the Rev. Larry Palmer officiating. Interment will be at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle. Those who wish may make donations in memory of Mrs. Clair to the American Cancer Society, 52 Brunswick Ave. Brunswick.
