GREENVILLE – Bitha W. Hyland, 83, went to be with her Lord Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007. She was born Nov. 11, 1923, in Greenville, daughter of Ray and Lillian (Worster) Walker. She was a member of New Life Church, Greenville. She worked at Atlas Plywood Mill, Greenville, and later at the school lunchroom. She is survived by two sons, John Hyland and his wife, Pauline, of Bangor and Bruce Hyland and his wife, Theresa, of Bingham; five daughters, Georgiann Jardine of Greenville, Rosalie Wortman of Greenville, Lillian and William Shufelt of Greenville, Bonnie Fortier and her husband, Ross, of Guilford and Debra Ridley and her husband, Dean, of Caribou; a brother, Phillip Walker and his wife, Beverly, of Greenville; two sisters, Frances Roy of Greenville and Sally Bell and her husband, Gordon, of Tenants Harbor; 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, George Hyland; a sister, Beverly Macomber; and a brother, Frank Walker.
