MILLINOCKET – Brian S. Neal Sr., 85, passed away Friday, April 7, 2006, at a Howland healthcare facility. He was born May 1, 1920, in Millinocket, the son of Harvey and Ethel (Sears) Neal. Brian belonged to Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity of the University of Maine, where he graduated in 1950. He was a member of the American Legion, DAV and the Masons. Brian is survived by one son, Brian S. Neal Jr. of Gainsville, Fla.; one brother, Harvey “Babe” Neal and his wife, Maxine, of Millinocket. He was predeceased by his parents, his wife, Goldie; and his nephew, Keith. At Brian’s request, there will be no public calling hours. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, April, 10, in Millinocket Cemetery.
