ORRINGTON – Bruce E. Morrill, 60, died Feb. 16, 2007, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Nov. 8, 1946, in Bangor, the son of Christopher and Kathleen (Averill) Morrill. Bruce was well known for his love of his rescued golden retrievers, Mosey, Baxter and Tawny. He loved the outdoors and spending time with his best friends, the skidder crew. His pride and joy was his little buddy, Cole. Bruce is survived by his mother of Orrington; his loving wife, Candice (Little) Morrill of Orrington; two daughters, Lisa Morrill and Joanne Davis; one son, Christopher Morrill; one sister and her husband, Kathy and Doug Sabine; two grandsons, Cole Phillips and Kevin Davis; one granddaughter, Stephanie Davis; sister-in-law, Sally Morrill; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his brother, Gary Morrill. A service of remembrance will be held noon Wednesday, Feb. 21, at Brookings-Smith, Clark-Piper Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer, with the Rev. Robert T. Carlson, Pastor Emeritus of the East Orrington Congregational Church, officiating. Friends may call 11 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments immediately after the service at the Brookings-Smith Family Rooms, 55 South Main St., Brewer.
