LINCOLN – Burleigh Clifford Robinson, 91, husband of the late Helen (Lancaster) Robinson, died Aug. 14, 2006, at a Howland healthcare facility. He was born July 31, 1915, in Lakeview, the son of Clifford and Iva (Lewis) Robinson. Burleigh had been employed at the South Lincoln Spool Mill, Lincoln Pulp & Paper and for 30 years and three months at the state liquor store, retiring in 1975. He was an active Mason, being a member of Horeb Lodge No. 93 AF & AM, Mosaic Chapter, of which he was secretary for a long time and St. John’s Commandery. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was predeceased by an infant son. He is survived by a son, David B. Robinson of Corpus Christi, Texas; and a sister, Winifred Johnson of Dixon, Calif. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd., Lincoln. A Masonic memorial service will be held 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ronald Campbell officiating. Interment will be at South Lincoln Cemetery at a later date.
