NORTH NEWPORT – Calvin W. Seavey, 92, died Feb. 22, 2005, at a Bangor healthcare facility. He was born Feb. 29, 1912, at Exeter, a son of James and Lottie (Howard) Seavey. He was a graduate of Dexter High School, Class of 1933. Kelly married the former Phyllis Brooks on Nov. 28, 1935. She predeceased him April 5, 2002. He worked at the Wirthmore Feed Store for 34 years, retiring in 1974. Kelly was a life member of Parian Lodge No. 160 AF & AM, Corinna, for 57 years. He attended the Corinna United Methodist Church. He is survived by five sons, Keith and wife, Connie, of Corinna, Deane and wife, Barbara, of Falmouth and Dade City, Fla., Wayne and wife, Donna, of Bangor, Dennis and wife, Leila, of Newport, Michael and wife, Linda, of Plymouth; and a daughter, Elaine Littlefield and husband, Walter, of Levant; a sister, Myrtle Knowles of Dexter; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grand-children; three great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Kelly was predeceased by sisters, Thelma, Amber, Leona, and Barbara; and brothers Howard, Leon, Myron and Bill; a grandson Kevin; and a daughter-in-law Diana. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Chapel, 68 Exeter Road, Corinna, with the Rev. Bob Emrich officiating. Friends may call 1 p.m. until the time of services. Spring burial will be in the family lot, Corinna Village Cemetery.
