MILFORD, Mass. – Carl E. Chambers, 65, of 19 Purdue Drive, died Wednesday, July 14, 2004, at Milford Regional Hospital. He was the former husband of Rita (Mangusco) Chambers. He was born May 14, 1939, in Fort Fairfield, a son of the late Luis and Matteen (Farley) Chambers. He lived in Milford for many years. Educated in Maine, he was a self-employed carpenter until his retirement. He is survived by a son, Eric Chambers of Bonbay, N.Y.; five brothers, Ronald Chambers and Philip Chambers of Fort Fairfield, Terry Chambers of Lyman, Edward Chambers of Presque Isle, and Roger Chambers of Arundle; four sisters, Patricia Sebastian of Indiana, Betty Michaud of South Portland, Norma Ciesielski of Biddeford and Molly Clark of South Portland; and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 1, 2004, at the Fort Fairfield VFW Post. Interment will be private.
