STEUBEN and FRANKLIN, N.H. – Carl E. Hicks, 46, died unexpectedly Oct. 11, 2004, at Franklin, N.H. He was born July 31, 1958, in Bar Harbor, the son of William R. Hicks Sr. and Alice (Tracy) Hicks Young. He is survived by his mother, his sister, Risteen Masters of Trenton; one nephew, two nieces, one aunt and uncle and several cousins. He was predeceased by his father, his brother, William; and his stepfather, Allen Young. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, at the Gouldsboro United Methodist Church.
