HOULTON – Carl S. Wolhaupter, 83, died May 28, 2005, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born Sept. 18, 1921, at Woodstock, N.B., the son of Charles and Mae (Faulkner) Wolhaupter. Carl served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of Saint Mary of the Visitation Church and the Houlton Lodge of Elks. He worked as the manager of Allied Sales for 30 years and was an avid Red Sox fan. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Doris (Niles) Wolhaupter of Houlton; one son, Carl Wolhaupter and his wife, Allison, of Hendersonville, Tenn.; two daughters, Judy Martin and her husband, Jeff, of Sherman, Patty Randall and her husband, Ralph, of Dickson, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Misty, Michael, Matthew, Beth and Kathy; eight great-grandchildren, Coty, Kaylee, Katie, Eric, Michael, Evan, Nicholas and Isabella; three nieces, Clara Groves of Brewer, Jeanette Kennedy of Sydney, Charlene Wolhaupter of Houlton. A special thank you to Deacon Al Burleigh and Hospice nurses, Debbie Upton, Mim Sloat and Colleen London. Friends may call at the Dunn Funeral Home, from 10 a.m. until the time of departure for Saint Mary of the Visitation Church at 10:45 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev.
