CARLE A. ROBBINS SR. HARTLAND – Carle A. Robbins Sr., 78, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 27, 2008, surrounded by his loving wife and family, at his home. Carle joined the Army and served our country during the Korean War. He worked as an equipment operator for many years, and his favorite hobby was pulling his ponies at town and county fairs with his eldest daughter, Gale; and his grandsons, Mark and Todd Carlow. Carle is survived by his wife of 54 years, Elizabeth P. Robbins; his children, Gale Carlow and her husband, Juan, of Hartland, Dale Robbins and his wife, Lorna, of Hermon, Carla Reynolds and her husband, Brent, of Las Vegas, Carle Robbins Jr. and his partner, Heather Richardson, of Troy, and Teresa Robbins of Palmyra; his daughter-in-law, Joanne Robbins; two brothers, Robin Robbins of Fayetteville, Ga., and Terrence Robbins and his wife, Bertha, of Gaffney, S.C.; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Gladys Robbins; and three siblings, James, Gayne and Charles. At the request of Carle, the services will be private.
