WINTERVILLE – Carlton R. Soucie, 58, passed away unexpectedly March 12, 2008, at his home. He was born July 19, 1949, in Winterville, the son of Fred and Bernice (Thibodeau) Soucie. Carlton would like everyone to remember him as a hardworking man with a deep love for his family and a sly sense of humor. He was a 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus member from Eagle Lake. He is survived by his one true love and wife of 40 years, Carlene (Nadeau) Soucie; one son, Tim and his wife, Tanya (Allison) Soucie, of Winterville; one daughter, Tammy and her husband, Jeff Roy, of Winterville; his grandchildren, Jared, Taylor and Logan, who truly put a twinkle in his eye. Carlton will be dearly missed by all of his family, including his brothers, Roderick “Kit” and his wife, Judy, of St. Augustine, Fla., Ronald and his wife, Robbin, of Levant and Randy of Summerville, Fla.; his sisters, Norma Vaillancourt of St. Augustine, Fla., Sandra Soucie of Bowdoin and Karen and her husband, John Roy, of New Limerick; his beloved brother-in-law, Ken Smith of Winterville; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; a sister, Linda Smith; brothers-in-law, Reynold “June” Pelletier and Richard Vaillancourt; and sister-in-law, Lisa (Voisine) Soucie. Please pray for those of us left behind, as there is now an empty place in our hearts. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday until time of departure for Eagle Lake at Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday, March 15, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Eagle Lake. Those who wish, may donate in Carlton’s name to the Edgar J.
