BRADFORD – Aubrey E. Dunfee, 94, husband of Eleanor M. (Day) Dunfee, went home to be with his Lord Wednesday, March 12, 2008. He was born June 19, 1913, in Bradford, the son of Albert and Mary (Hurd) Dunfee. He was a vital and faithful member of Charleston Pentecostal Church since he was a teenager and was a man with a very strong faith. He was an outstanding family man who was proud of his family and loved to go flying with his sons. He will be remembered by everyone as a man who was a quiet encourager with a dry sense of humor. He enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle in his earlier years and traveling to Florida with his loving wife in his latter years. He had been an employee of Viner Shoe Co., Bangor, retiring about 30 years ago. Surviving, in addition to his loving wife of more than 71 years, are three sons, Dalton and his wife, Lois, of Corinth, Malcolm and his wife, Sonya, of Corinth and Keith Dunfee Sr. and his wife, Cynthia, of Bradford; nine grandchildren, that he dearly loved, 25 great- grandchildren; a brother, Arthur and his wife, Glennis, of Clearwater, Fla.; many nieces and nephews; and his pug dog, Snuffy. He was predeceased by a son, Clayton; a grandson, Keith Jr.; and two sisters, Ruby Webster and Thelma Crandall. The family wishes to give very special thanks to the excellent care and loving devotion given by the personnel at Woodlands of Brewer. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday at Charleston Pentecostal Church, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Matthew Ward officiating. The family wishes to invite friends and relatives to join them in the fellowship hall after the service for a time of fellowship and refreshment. Spring burial will be at Williams Cemetery, Bradford.
