ELLSWORTH – Carole Jean Salisbury, 42, died unexpectedly Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003, at an Ellsworth hospital. She was born in Portland Dec. 19, 1960, the daughter of Leverette and Alice (West) Salisbury. Carole attended schools in Brewer and Ellsworth, and was a graduate of the Baxter School for the Deaf on Macworth Island in Falmouth. She enjoyed music and was a great fan of Chuck Norris films, shows and infomercials. Carole was a resident at 20 Maddocks Ave. for the last eight years, where she developed a special affection for Wendy Gilbert and riding in her Jeep. In addition to her parents of Ellsworth, Carole is survived by two brothers, Tommy Salisbury and his wife, Agnes, of Ellsworth, and Edward Salisbury and his wife, Melinda, of Otis; a sister, Patti Colson and her husband, Chuck, of Prospect Harbor; six nieces and nephews, Laura, Jenny, Edward Jr., Chelsea, Brandon, and Thomas; two great-nieces, Ashley and Georgie-Anna; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Evergreen Cemetery, Route 180 in Otis, with Pastor Scott Conners officiating.
