ROBBINSTON – Carolyn J. (Quimby) Cawley died Dec. 19, 2003, at Atlantic Rehab. and Nursing Center in Calais. She was born Feb. 25, 1937, in Robbinston, the daughter of Arnold and Madonna Quimby. She was predeceased by her husband, Laird T. Cawley in 2001; her mother, Madonna Quimby in 2002; her father, Arnold Quimby in 1993. Surviving are her two daughters, Vicki S. Clark and her husband, Michael, of Robbinston and Wendy Dietrich and her husband, Gary, of Menominee, Mich.; her grandchildren, Robbie and Lindsey Clark of Robbinston and Morgan Cawley of Menominee, Mich.; also a sister, Donna Hennequin and husband, Marshall, of Robbinston; brothers, Glen Quimby and wife, Shirley, Robert Quimby and wife, Paula, both of Sanford; brother-in-law, Harvey Cawley and wife, Beverly, of Hermon; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was an employee of Wal-Mart in Calais for many years until 1998. Previously she had worked in a department store in Dover, N.H. She was a devoted employee as well as mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed. Graveside services will be announced at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to the Sewall Memorial Congregational Church, Route 1, Robbinston, ME 04671.
