HAMPDEN – Carolyn Louise Parker, 64, died March 3, 2008. She was born Dec. 18, 1943, in Portland, the daughter of the late Lewis and Mary (Calder) Parker. She worked for many years in area shoe factories. She was also a foster mom to several children. Carolyn loved cooking and crafts. She had a great talent for crocheting. She enjoyed craft night with all her friends at Roe Village, where she lived. She was predeceased by three older brothers, Lloyd, Walter and Neil. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Loretta Parker of Raymond; two sisters, Janette Leighton of Belfast and Elizabeth Robinson and her husband, Bruce, of Bangor; one brother, Douglas Parker and his wife, Theresa, of Swanville; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. A celebration of life will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, March 9, at her sister’s residence, 28 Randolph Drive, Bangor.
