BUCKSPORT – Carolyn M. (Moore) Craig, 71, died July 28, 2005, at her home in Bucksport. She was born Sept. 5, 1933, in Bucksport, the daughter of Willis D. and Marion M. (Grindle) Moore. Carolyn graduated third in her class from Bucksport High School in 1951. She worked at the Jewett School for 27 years as a teachers aide where she was an influence to many children in the community. She enjoyed gardening, playing beano, doing crafts, and shopping. Carolyn was extremely family oriented and her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, were her source of inspiration. Carolyn is survived by her 10 children, John Craig and his wife, Sue Ann, of Bucksport, Christy Cross and her husband, Jeremy Ray, of Hollowell, Robert Craig and his wife, Rhonda, of Lakeland, Fla., Susan Dugas of Cincinnati, Ohio, Timothy Craig and his wife, Rae-Jean, of Bucksport, Paula Webster and her husband, Jay, of Prospect, Marianne Mylen and her husband, Jon, of Bucksport, Gerry Craig and his wife, Michelle, of Uncasville, Conn., Ben Craig and his wife, Tracy, of Kodiak, Alaska, and Matthew Craig and his wife, Becky, of Bucksport; 25 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren (as of last count); brother in-law, Edward “Mooney” Craig; of Orland; sister-in-law, Alice Brooks and her husband, Ronald, of West Palm Beach, Fla.; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Carolyn was predeceased by her parents, Willis and Marion Moore; her husband, Ben W. D. Craig in 1995; and recently predeceased by her special nephew, Jimmy Craig. Visitation for family and friends will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 1, 2005, at the Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home, 28 Elm St., Bucksport. A funeral service will be held 4 p.m. Tuesday, at the Franklin St. United Methodist Church, Bucksport, with Pastor Peter Remick and the Rev. Linda Smith officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Hill Cemetery, Bucksport. Donations in her memory may be made to the Bucksport Swimming Pool Fund, care of Bucksport Recreation Department, P.O.
