ABBOT – Carroll Walter Moore, 81, died Jan. 15, 2008, at his home. He was born Feb. 3, 1926, in Abbot, son of Gayland Moore Sr. and Ione (Bennett) Moore. He graduated from Guilford High School, Class of 1944, and served in the U.S. Air Force. On June 7, 1952, he married Joyce (Clark) Moore. He worked for 46 years as a self-employed electrician. He liked the outdoors, hunting and fishing, and enjoyed many camping trips. He is survived by his wife of Abbot; two sons, John C. Moore of Monson and Jeffrey C. Moore of Abbot; three grandchildren, Reggie, John II and Jennifer; four great-grandchildren, Zach, Alli, Alexander and Makalya; and a brother, Roderick of Farmington. At his request, there will be no visitation or public services. Spring burial will be at Blanchard Cemetery, Abbot.
