CROSS LAKE – Cecile Dionne, 88, died Jan. 11, 2008, at a Caribou nursing home. She was born Dec. 19, 1919, in Guerrette, the daughter of Joseph and Flevi (Dubois) Fisher. She was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Church, Sinclair and of Cross Lake Senior Citizen’s Club. She is survived by one son, Lucien Jr. of Bloomfield, Conn.; seven daughters, Rona Hart of Caribou, Viola M. and her husband, Louis Chambers, of Copenhagen, N.Y., Reona and her husband, Robert Canny, of West Hartford, Conn., Aurora and her husband, Warren Fruesher, of Haggertown, Md., Lucienne and her husband, Charles O’Connelle, of Long Beach, Miss., Delores St. Amand of South Bend, Ind., and Cora Green of Caribou; 30 grandchildren, 41 great-grand-children, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Lucien Dionne Sr., February 2006. Friends and relatives may call 6-8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. until the time of services Monday at Michaud Funeral Home, St. Agatha. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Sinclair, with the Rev. Phil Cyr officiating. Burial will be at St. Euthrope Cemetery in the spring.
