OLD TOWN – Cecile LaForge Charette, 94, died April 11, 2005, in a Phoenix, Ariz. hospital after a short illness. She was born Oct. 16, 1910, in Old Town, the daughter of Louis Edmond and Phoebe (Gaudreau) LaForge. She lived in Old Town for 91 years. Cecile was the wife of Raymond Alton Charette and a homemaker. She was a member of Holy Family (St. Joseph’s) Parish in Old Town, where she dedicated many years to playing the organ for services. She is survived by her son and his wife, Eugene and Amy Charette; and her granddaughter, Emily Charette all of Phoenix, Ariz.; as well as many nieces and nephews and their children. A Memorial Mass will be held 11 a.m. May 20, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 429 Main Street, in Old Town, followed by a reception in the Parish Hall. Interment will be in St Joseph’s Cemetery, Old Town. Her family asks you keep her in your prayers in lieu of flowers or donations.
