MILLINOCKET – Cecile M. Baron, 83, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005, at a local hospital. She was born April 17, 1921, in Upper Frenchville the daughter of Hillard and Marie (Guerrette) Deschaine. Cecile enjoyed her home and her friends. She was a wonderful cook and loved taking care of her family. Her home was always meticulously kept and one of her favorite pastimes was birdwatching. Cecile was always ready to travel whenever someone could beckon her to go. She is survived by her daughter, Marita C. Robinson of Port Richey, Fla.; her grandchildren, Stephanie Eck of Tampa, Fla., and Dale Robinson of Jacksonville, Fla., William Hegstrom of Brooks, and Shawna Burd of Texas; two great-grandchildren, Candice Eck and Annabelle Egstrom; a brother, Gerard Deschaine of Cranston, R.I.; and a sister, Rose Hayward of Punta Gorda, Fla.; Cecile is also survived by many special nieces and nephews, including Charlene Caron and Patricia Perry, and a very special friend and traveling companion, Suzanne Leveille. She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Baron; and a daughter, Ann Marie Burd. Friends may call 1-3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7, 2005, at R. L. Bouchard Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack St., Millinocket where funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Spring burial will be in Millinocket Cemetery.
