WINTHROP and YARMOUTH – Beverly C. Christiansen, 76, loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother died Feb. 3, 2005, in Winthrop following a lengthy illness. She was born May 21, 1928, in Waterville, a daughter of Pasquale and Elena Pecci Cadenelli. Beverly graduated from Richmond High School and the Maine General Hospital School of Nursing in Portland, receiving an R.N. Degree in 1948. Beverly resided in Yarmouth, Windham and Falmouth for many years and attended West Falmouth Baptist Church. She was an active member of the Cooperative Extension Service and an avid outdoors person. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Alton Christiansen of Winthrop; her children, Bruce and his wife, Debra, of Windham, Sandra and her husband, Paul, of Winterport. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Erica and Rebecca Christiansen of Windham; one sister, Kathleen Zachau of New Gloucester. Visiting hours will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday Feb. 7, at Lindquist Funeral Home, 1 Mayberry Lane, Yarmouth, where a funeral will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rev. Phil Shearman will officiate. Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery in Falmouth.
