STOCKHOLM – Cecile M. Plourde, 84, wife of the late Eddie Plourde, died Aug. 18, 2007, in Caribou, after a brief illness. She was born May 18, 1923, in St. Agatha, the daughter of the late Baptiste and Delia (Desrosier) Bouchard. Mrs. Plourde was employed by the Birds Eye Division of General Foods, Caribou, for many years. She was a life- long member of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church and was also a member of the Perkins Plourde Post American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Donald and Jane Plourde of Palmyra and Ricky Plourde of Caribou; one daughter and son-in-law, Rose and Bert Caron of Caribou; five brothers, Albert Bouchard and his wife, Celine, and Wilbert Bouchard, all of Coco, Fla., Clarence Bouchard and his wife, Patricia, of Caribou, Clifford Bouchard and his wife, Della, of Jacksonville, Fla., and Joseph Bouchard of Titusville, Fla.; two sisters, Lucille Guilbert of Titusville, Fla., and Rose Desrocher and her husband, Jack, of Ellington, Conn.; eight grandchildren, Cynthia Wilcox and husband, Chris, Scott Caron and wife, Lisa, Tim Caron and wife, Jill, Krista Babineau and husband, Matthew, Lori Plourde, Shawn Plourde, Emily Plourde and Rebecca Plourde; three great-grandchildren, Ethan, Hailey and Abbie Caron; many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Plourde was predeceased by her husband, Eddie, in 1979; a son, Ronald in 1964; a sister, Hermance in 1984; and a brother, Gilbert in 2003. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Monday at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, at St. Theresa’s Cath-olic Church, Stockholm, with Father David Raymond officiating. Interment will be at the parish cemetery.
