MILLINOCKET – Celeste E. Charette, 47, died May 26, 2004, at a Lincoln healthcare facility. She was born May 7, 1957, in Island Falls, the daughter of Rosaire and Lola (Morgan) Charette. Celeste enjoyed the outdoors, wildlife and being around people. The Dream Foundation sent her to Florida, where she went to Sea World and met Jack Hanna. She is survived by her son, Joseph McKinney of Newburyport, Mass.; a grandson, Dwaine McKinney-Turner of Bangor; a brother, Chester Charette of Fryeburg; two sisters, Joy Pepin and Rosanne Weymouth, both of Millinocket; a special nephew, Daren Harvey and his family of Pittsfield; a special friend, Cathleen Flanagan of Millinocket; and special friends, Ma and Dad Madore of Millinocket; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents in 1968; and a sister, Candy Harvey, in 1993. There will be a graveside service at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 29, at the Millinocket Cemetery, with the Rev. Herschel Hafford officiating. Friends and family are invited to I CARE Ministries after the service.
