CARIBOU and UPPER SANDUSKY, Ohio – Celia F. “Dolly” Kelley, 75, lifelong resident of Caribou and also for the past year a resident of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2005, at Wyandot County Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation in Upper Sandusky, Ohio. She was born Sept. 1, 1929, in Waterbury, Conn., daughter of the late John and Celia (Gieggy) Clarkson. Mrs. Kelley was a retired bookkeeper with L.S. Hall Company and before that with Grant’s Dairy both located in Caribou. She enjoyed knitting, doing crossword puzzles, and reading. She graduated from Caribou High School in 1948. She married Bernard L. Kelley Nov. 27, 1949, in Caribou. Dolly was predecased by Bernard, March 18, 2003. She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Higgins of Upper Sandusky, Ohio; two sons, Roger and his wife, Kathy Kelley, of Buffalo, N.Y., Mike and his wife, Lisa Kelley, of Monroe, N.C.; six grandchildren, Kyle Kelley, Colin Kelley, Meghan Kelley, Kelley Higgins, Cody Kelley and Dianna Fales; She was predeceased by one sister, Luana Marshall. The family requests no visitation. Burial will be held at Grimes Mill Cemetery, Caribou at a later date.
