BRIDGEWATER – Charles D. Lynch, 86, died Nov. 28, 2007, at a Mars Hill health care facility. Charlie was born Jan. 9, 1921, in Bridgewater, the son of Duncan and Iva (Lloyd) Lynch. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He is survived by a son, Paul Lynch of Massachusetts; a stepdaughter, Donna Brown of Massachusetts; three nieces, Darlene Burgen of Bangor, Elaine Kinney of Madison and Patricia Browning of Presque Isle; several grandchildren and cousins. He was predeceased by his first wife, Vera Burlock Lynch; his second wife, Delores McLean Lynch; a son, Charles Lynch; a sister, Sylvia Sharpe; and an infant grandson. The family gives a special thank you to everyone at Aroostook Health Center, Long Term Care Unit, Mars Hill and especially Marcia Kilcollins, for all their devoted care for Charlie. Graveside services with military honors will be held later in the spring at Smith Cemetery, Bridgewater.
