GLENBURN – Charles “Glen” W. MacDonald, 90, passed Sept. 16, 2006. He was born July 10, 1916, in Bangor. He established a successful business as a paint contractor in the Bangor area. Glen loved summers at his camp on Pushaw Lake, where he enjoyed working in his thriving vegetable and flower gardens. He wintered for years in Florida. He was a World War II veteran, Mason and Shriner. Glen is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Glenda and Donald Palumbo, Karrie and Neil Leighton, Helen and Norman Higgins; a daughter-in-law, Faye Joyce MacDonald; many grandchildren and their families. He was predeceased by his first wife of 46 years, Barbara Louise (Emery) and later on by Doris Knowles; and his son, Stephen Rodney. A memorial service and celebration of Glen’s life will be held at a later date.
