ST. FRANCIS – Charles Ray Morris, 77, died peacefully Jan. 17, 2007, at a Fort Kent health care facility. He was born April 30, 1929, in St. Francis, the son of John and Adeline (Harvey) Morris. Ray is survived by two brothers, Joseph Claire Morris of St. Francis and Fred Morris of East Hartford, Conn.; one sister, Sue Ellen Collins of Tucson, Ariz.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to both his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, John Morris in 1993. Friends may call at Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. Monday until time of departure for St. Francis. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday at the St. Charles Catholic Church, St. Francis. Spring burial will be held May 16, at St. Francis Cemetery, St. Francis.
