BRUNSWICK – Charles W. Campbell Sr., 54, of Elwell Lane, died unexpectedly, Sunday, May 30, 2004. He was born Oct. 19, 1949, in Millinocket, the son of Sarah Elizabeth Campbell. He graduated from Stearns High School, Class of 1968, and received an associate’s degree in business administration from Beal’s College, Bangor. He married Linda Pelletier in East Millinocket in 1973. Mr. Campbell was employed at Great Northern in Millinocket, before moving to Bangor, where he worked at Morin Candy & Tobacco for 10 years. He moved to Portland, where he worked for the Portland Symphony and than became employed at Computer Land in Brunswick. Mr. and Mrs. Campbell moved to Brunswick in the late 1980’s, where he has been employed at Chad Little John Deere. He was a former member of Millinocket First Baptist Church. He lived for his grandchildren and enjoyed collecting Wexford Glass. He is survived by his wife of Brunswick; a son, Charles W. Campbell Jr. and his wife, Jenny; a daughter, Christine Campbell and her fianc?, John Brausseau, of Portland, Ore.; sister, Clare Peters and her husband, Kenneth, of Morrill; and two grandchildren, Tyler James Campbell and Kaslyne Josie Campbell. He is also survived by his mother of Bath. Friends may visit 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Federal St., Brunswick. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ronald McLaughlin officiating.
