HODGDON – Charles Warren Coffin, 86, died Jan. 28, 2005, at a local hospital. He was born Dec. 29, 1918, at Worcester, Mass., the son of Charles A. and Anna K. (Johnson) Coffin. Charles served in the U.S. Marines during World War II. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and naturalist. He is survived by his extended family. Included are the Harold and Mary Rouse Family of Hodgdon, the Maurice and Meredith Rouse Family of Sherman, the Earle and Weltha Rouse Family of Bangor, the Ralph and Phyllis Stevens Family of Virginia Beach, Va. The children and grandchildren of the families were a comfort and joy to him. At Charles’ request, there will be no funeral services.
