HERMON – Charlotte L. Curtis, 78, wife of the late Richard Curtis, died peacefully Oct. 18, 2007, surrounded by her family, at home. She was born Oct. 2, 1929, in Bangor, the daughter of Bertie and Annie (Jellison) White. Charlotte was a member of the Brewer Eagle’s Club for many years and loved to dance, sing, laugh and especially loved a poker game. She is survived by six daughters, Annie and her husband, Kevin Fitzpatrick, of Henderson, Nev., Donna Higgins of Searsport, Rhonda and her husband, Frederick Doughty, of Glenburn, Shirley and her husband, Daniel Hustus, of Levant, Penny and her husband, Brian Laser, of Cumberland, and Betty Burgess and her fianc?, James McCarty, of Glenburn; three sons, Richard Curtis Jr. and his wife, Lisa, of Winterport, Reginald Curtis of Glenburn, and Ronnie Curtis and his wife, Angel, of Stetson; 24 grandchildren, 26 great-grand-children; and special friends, Carla and Marilyn. Special thanks to Tom, Shelly and Alice of Hospice of St. Joseph. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at Evergreen Cemetery, Hermon. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments immediately after the service at her daughter, Rhonda’s home in Glenburn.
