VAN BUREN – Carline A. Cyr, 62, died Oct. 17, 2007, at a Van Buren health care facility. She was born April 13, 1945, in Van Buren, the daughter of Hypolite and Josephine (Ayotte) Cyr. She was employed as a nutrition consultant aide for the Cooperative Extension Service for several years. She is survived by her husband, Leo James Cyr of Van Buren; one daughter, Susan St. Amand and her husband, Michael, of Strasburg, Va.; two sons, Michael Cyr and his wife, Lori, of Fort Kent, and John Cyr and his wife, Tammy, of Van Buren; two sisters, Cecile Herrin of Bennington, Vt., and Theresa Collins of Van Buren; three brothers, Leo Vaillancourt of Rutland, Vt., Gilman Cyr of Potsdam, N.Y., and Harold Cyr of Springfield, Vt.; four grandchildren, Elisha Cyr, Erin Cyr, Jonathan St. Amand and Jason St. Amand. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no calling hours. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, at St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church.
