RIDGE MANOR, Fla. and WEST GOULDSBORO – Charlotte Ross, 79, passed away after a brief illness, Jan. 2, 2005, at a Dade City, Fla. hospital. She was born April 23, 1925, in Brooklyn, N.Y. She was an active loving member of The Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church of Dade City, Fla. She was the widow of Robert Ross. She was well known for her crafts and sewing. She will be eternally missed by her four daughters, Maggie Marshall of Sarasota, Fla., Marilyn Carriere of Andover, Mass. and Strafford, N.H., Jean Hibbard of West Gouldsboro, and Rhonda Matteson of Rochester, N.Y.; a cousin, Carol Buckingham of Ridge Manor, Fla.; and her dear friend, Joanne Sexton of Ridge Manor, Fla. She adored her grandchildren, Kim Anderson, Klair Mosher, David Carriere, Denise Carriere, Beth Carriere, Laura Hibbard, Tom Hibbard, Justin Matteson and Karla Matteson, and nine great-grandchildren. She had one beloved predeceased grandson, Ross Eckenroad. A memorial service was held at the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church of Dade City Florida, There will also be a memorial burial service held in West Gouldsboro at a future date.
