ORLAND – Chein Daubney passed away unexpectedly May 7, 2007, at her home. She was born July 1, 1937, in Taipei, Taiwan R.O.C. She spoke nostalgically of being the beloved baby sister of many siblings, whom she was planning to visit this summer. Chein married William Daubney, formerly of Mendon, Mass., in 1970, after meeting in Taipei, Taiwan R.O.C. Chein is survived by her husband, William; and many nieces and nephews, whom she cared for immensely. She will be remembered as a caring wife, loving auntie and cherished friend. For those who knew her well and were fortunate to have spent precious time with her, she will be remembered also for the patience and kindness she modeled in her everyday life. Her compassion, ability to forgive, and love unconditionally reflected a depth of spirit rarely known. Chein had a great sense of humor, was an avid gardener and especially enjoyed the company of children and family. She was a person everyone truly enjoyed being in the company of. Private funeral services will be held at Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home, 28 Elm St., Bucksport.
