ORONO – Christine May Lydick, 83, died Aug. 22, 2008, at a Bangor hospital. She was born July 29, 1925, in Brewer, the daughter of John R. and Lillian May (Hall) Parlee Sr. Christine was a dedicated and loyal fan to the Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics and the University of Maine Black Bear Hockey teams. She also loved to complete crossword puzzles. Christine was predeceased by her husband, Harry Lydick; and by a brother, William Parlee. She is survived by her siblings, Robert E. Parlee and his companion, Georgia Southard, of Brewer, Frank A. Parlee of Brewer, Ruth (Parlee) Deveau of Old Town, Burneice (Parlee) Gallant of Holden; several nieces and nephews.
