CARIBOU – Clair M. Tardif, 88, died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2006, at a Caribou hospital. She was born April 28, 1918, in Lille, the daughter of Henry and Leah Tardif. She was a communicant at Holy Rosary and was a housekeeper for 42 years, serving Caribou and Biddeford parishes. She is survived by a sister, Anita Belanger of Caribou, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three sisters, Mable Crocker, Yvette Dubay and Lucille Eaton; two brothers, Aurelle Tardif and Leo James Tardif. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, North Caribou, with Fr. Than Nguyan, celebrant. Interment will take place after the service at Sacred Heart Cemetery, North Caribou. Arrangements by Lancaster-Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover St., Caribou.
