HANNIBAL, Mo. – Clara Novara, 91, passed away March 26, 2008. Clara was born in Howland and lived in Mineola, N.Y., for many years before moving to Hannibal, Mo. Clara was an employee of Carle Place, N.Y., school district, a 44-year member of Corpus Christi Church, Mineola, N.Y., member of Mineola Am-erican Legion Ladies Auxiliary and attended Holy Family Catholic Church, Hannibal, Mo. She was predeceased by her parents, Leslie and Agnes Gertrude Faloon; her husband, Philip; her brothers, Elwood, Woodrow and Stephan Faloon; and her sisters, Kathleen Foley and Eileen McKinnon. She is survived by her son, John and his wife, Mary, of Hannibal, Mo.; her grandchildren, Philip, Tessa, Camela and Sophia, all of Missouri; her brother, Ronald Faloon and his wife, Sandra, of Indiana; several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, at Cassidy Funeral Home, 156 Willis Ave., Min-eola, N.Y. A funeral Mass will be held 9:45 a.m. Thursday, April 3, at Corpus Christi Church, Mineola, N.Y. Entomb-ment will be at Holy Rood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Lung Association would be appreciated.
