SEMINOLE, Fla. – Clare L. McLaughlin, 89, wife of the late Harold “Happy” McLaughlin of Seminole, Fla., died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2004. She was born in Danforth, and lived in Brewer until moving to Florida in 1981. She worked as a shoemaker at Viner Brothers in Bangor. Survivors include two daughters, Elizabeth “Betty” Blackford and Gail Saxion, both of Seminole, Fla.; and one son, David McLaughlin of Lewisville, Texas; 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, “Happy” McLaughlin; one son, Gene McLaughlin of Brewer; and one daughter, Kaye Williams of Moultrie, Ga. She was dearly loved and will missed by all.
