BANGOR – Clarence C. Carr Jr., 78, wife of the late Pauline “Polly” (Ardine) Carr, died June 25, 2005, at a local hospital. He was born June 16, 1927, in Bangor, the son of Clarence and Laura (Twist) Carr. Clarence comes from a long line of business entrepreneurs and founded and owned Carr’s Movers and Storage specializing in piano moving. He is survived by eight children, Linda Quimby and companion, Richard Lancaster, of Bangor, Louise Eldridge of Brewer, Cynthia and her husband, Frank Clark, of Kittery, Susan Carr of Orlando, Fla., Caryn Murphy of Bangor, the Rev. Russell Carr of Hampden, David Carr of Bangor, the Rev. Jon Carr and his wife, the Rev. Kathy Carr, of Scarborough; 18 grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; and a special aunt, Louise Church of East Corinth. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by a baby daughter, Cathy; grandson, Kevin; and granddaughter, Nikia. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 28, at Abundant Life Church, Bangor. Interment will follow at Marston Cemetery, Orrington.
