CAMDEN – Clarence “Bob” E. Waterman Jr., 89, passed away July 23, 2007, in Camden. He was born Aug. 12, 1917, in North Haven, son of Clarence E. and Nora (Davis) Waterman. On Jan. 10, 1943, he married Lucinda Ewer Rich of Charleston. Surviving are his three children, Rebecca Otten and her husband, Bob, of Middlebury, Conn., Robert Waterman of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Sally Crockett and her husband, John, of Mannheim, Germany; two sisters, Clara Waterman of North Haven and Phyllis Winslow of Rockland; a brother-in-law, Edwin Rich of Topsham; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Lucinda, in 2003; a daughter-in-law, Sherryl Waterman; and a brother, Franklin Waterman. A memorial service will be announced in August. Private family interment will be held at Mountain View Cemetery, Camden. Arrangements are with Long Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Camden.
