PRESQUE ISLE – Clarence J. Cyr, 75, died March 24, 2005, at home. He was born Jan. 2, 1930, in Presque Isle the son of Levi and Ruby (McNorten) Cyr. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He is survived by three sons, Ricky B. Cyr and Randy A. Cyr both of Presque Isle and Terry S. Cyr of Gainesville, Fla.; a daughter, Sandra McLaughlin of Presque Isle; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty Hodsdon of California. He was predeceased by a son, Larry Cyr; his brothers, Milton and Dale; his sister, Mona. All who knew Clarence will remember and miss his work ethic, his inexhaustible energy, his good humor and the love and affection he gave so freely to his family and friends. Visiting hours will be held from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, March 26, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. A graveside service will be held later in the spring at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle with a military committal.
