MONTICELLO and TYLER, Texas – Clayton Philip Sirois, 78, husband of Ruth Sirois, died March 28, 2006, at Tyler, Texas, after a brief illness. He was born July 3, 1927, at Caribou, the son of John B. and Delia (Soucie) Sirois. Mr. Sirois was a former Caribou resident and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps having served during World War II. He had been employed as a meat cutter for many years and after his retirement, Clayton enjoyed traveling with his wife, Ruth. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Donna M. Sirois; six brothers, Walter, Donald, Roger, Archie, Louis and Richard Sirois; three sisters, Ida Morrell, Dora Lovely and Marion Peluso. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Sirois of Monticello; one son, Kirk Sirois of Kittery; one daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Robert Gahrmann of Gulfport, Miss.; two sisters, Florence Brissette of Caribou, Stella Paradis of Connecticut; two grandchildren, Michelle Cobb of Pennsylvania and Heather Wantland of Georgia; one great-grandson, Ethan Cobb of Pennsylvania; several nieces and nephews. At the family request, there will be no services at this time.
